Matlab Communication with Robotino SIM Demo 1.4.1

I am trying to control robotino in simulation environment via matlab, I have tried various examples from the RobotinoMatlab blockset, which seem to work fine, but the robot does not move in the simulation. I am using MATLAB R2016b. Looking forward to your help
