Dear Sir and Madam,
I am writing to ask for help on how to install Windows OS on the embedded PC of the Robotino. As you may know, the initial (default) OS of the embedded PC is Linux (Ubuntu). For our project, considering all the needed packages, it is better to run a Windows OS on this embedded PC. Do you have any experiences in this field? There are mainly two questions: (1) I have tried to update the image version of Roboitno using a bootable USB stick. Is it also possible to overwrite the Linux OS using a bootable USB stick with a Windows image? If so, how to install it? Is there something we should pay special attention to, so that we do not cause any damages to our Robotino? (2) Is it possible to install two OSs, one is Linux and the other one is Windows, so that we can choose the OS at the beginning? If so, is there anything we should pay attention to?
Here is some information regarding our Robotino: Robotino version: 3, OS of the embedded PC: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, Processor type: Intel Core i5 CPU E 520 @ 2.40GHz x 4, OS type: 64 bit.
Any suggestion is highly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Bryce
